To Whom it May Concern:

Working with Steve Bonner at Coldwell Banker exceeded any of our expectations. As a first time homebuyer, we were not familiar with the terminology, or the best process, or how find the right people to involve. Right away Steve was incredibly friendly and took time to sit down with my wife and I to determine what would be a good fit for us.

Steve answered every question and explained every form and every part of the process clearly and thoroughly. He was very helpful in explaining the entire process and really relieved our stress level. We truly believe his expertise helped tremendously in our offer being accepted. Buying a home in this market is challenging, but working with Steve made it painless and straightforward as possible. We definitely could not have done this without Steve, and he really took care of us during the entire process including negotiation, closing, and even after closing. We hope that we will be in this home for many years to come, but when it is time to move again, we will definitely call Steve!

We highly recommend Steve!

Sincerely,

Emitiss & Payam

It is such a pleasure to write this letter…feel free to share with respective clients.

When we met almost 18 months ago, I was looking for a property that could serve as our family's new homestead, our "forever" house. My husband and I have always been drawn to Mid Century Modern architecture and you were helping out a colleague by showing me his listing. The listing agent was there for about 5 minutes, introduced you and proceeded to brush me off. You, on the other hand, showed me the house with such care and attention that it made an impression. The house was in significant disrepair and would need lots of restoration, but it had bones. When I proceeded to list all the features of the house and how to make them shine again, you listened and asked follow up questions. I knew then I had found the kindred spirit we needed for this journey.

Over the next 9 months, we became true partners in a property search to meet our needs. And you obliged our every whim, always admitting when you did not know the answer to a question. But then you would research and provide thoughtful, detailed, careful answers. We had properties that were very close and offers that fell through but you always steered us with your honesty and integrity. With every property that was not quite right, you earned our trust and respect.

One day a property came on the market. It was in a perfect location and it had an amazing feel and some MCM bones. And while it was very well maintained, it needed significant updating. A great project loomed. Would we be able to make this property ours? Offers poured in…an offer that was not ours was accepted. A couple of days later we chatted about other properties and I remember telling you that this Pierce Rd property had stolen my heart and I could not shake it off. I was not ready to move on. And then Fate intervened…or should I say Steve Bonner intervened?

You became just as invested as we were to try to make this property ours. Turns out the original accepted offer was rescinded by the buyer as they realized the amount of work that would be involved with such a property. And we only found this out because you were thorough and effective at calling the listing agent one more time. When our time to close the property finally came, you once again steered us clearly and with the utmost integrity.

Throughout the whole process you have shown us with every interaction just what an honest and principled man you are. And we are so glad that it was you who represented us.

Our journey with this property is in many ways just beginning, and that possibility only exists because of you. And we are glad we can also call you our friend. So please accept our deepest appreciation…..

With utmost gratitude,

A. and R.

While I have never had the chance to work with Steve in his new gig in real estate, I wouldn't give it a second thought if/when the time arises. Why? There is nothing more important for me than integrity and trust. Steve embodies both of these very critical characteristics. And while it's a very rare trait, Steve always puts the interest of the people he is working for ahead of his own. Think about it, how many people do you know that are this way? Don't let his great attitude and enjoyable personality fool you as he is extremely passionate about what he does and is relentless in his pursuit of success for those who he works with/for. This is why he continues to be successful in whatever direction life takes him.

How I know this is because I have known Steve and been a colleague of his (in his prior technology career and new gig) for more than 2 decades and seen him at work. I have been on both sides of the table and can say without reservation, I would ALWAYS want him on my team, no matter what is needed.

Some quick background - I am one of the most critical and tough-to-please individuals but Steve is one of only a few people (all can be counted on one hand) I can recommend wholeheartedly. While that may not mean much to some, it is to me. All we have in life is our word and Steve is one of the rare people who I have been able to trust to do what he says. I have learned that to be successful in life you need to surround yourself with a great support group, people like Steve. I am proud to say he is on my go-to list for anything and someone I am elated to be able to call a friend.
